Web Search Assignment 1: Locating and Evaluating PDA Security Products
Your assignment is to start at
Google and search for at least 10 different PDA security products. These can be anti-virus products, firewalls, encryptions programs or netowkrk interface programs.
Once you have located 10 products, evaluate each of them for applicability to our enterprise environment using the criteria we discussed in class:
- Price (including Total Cost of Ownership)
- Device Compatability
- Support

Introduction to CPE 451: Corporate PDA Security
Welcome to CPE 451: Corporate PDA Security.
This calss has been created in response to the growing number of mobile devices that are being used throughout our organization. As these devices represent access points into our network, we need to educate users on how to secure these devices and access to our data.
This course will utilize readings, synchronous and asynchronous discussions, simulations and this blog.
The syllabus will be posted shortly but please go ahead and read and comment on the first several posts.
